Rookie Blue Season 4 Episode 1- "Surprises"

Rookie Blue is BACK! Out of all the shows I watch this is the one that I wish had a new episode everyday! Well I would settle for a fall season then the quick summer three month series.

Episode 1- "Surprises"
This episode pick up right where last season left us but six months ahead. Andy and Nick have left and went undercover and have been silent to those back at 15th division. The open scene has everyone a little scared. Nick and his group have a drug pick up from a boat dropping it off while Andy waits at the house (they are a couple undercover). When the two get ready to leave for the night, three men with guns pushes them back into the room with the rest of Nick's group. They take the drugs and tell them that they work of the "other" drug lord of the city. This is all stage from the police to get the head of Nick's organization out in the open to try to collect on the stolen drugs.
Back at 15th division we find out that Sam is now a detective, Chris is still waiting to open his letter from Temins PD about his transfer but he is dragging his feet about see what it will say and Gail is waiting for Nick to come back. To boost number the team has to increase money... which means traffic stops.
Oliver and Dov are out working the street when they stop someone for speeding... turns out to be the head of Nick's organization.
Back under cover, Nick's group shows up at their place and tells Nick that they have to go that a shipment is coming and they are going to unload it. They take his phone and Andy starts to panic. She calls in with her burner phone and the detective tells her to go over to the groups place and find out what is going on. When she gets there no one is home. She starts to snoop when one of the guys walks in. Things get a little awkward and when she goes to leave to find Nick "at the beach" the guy hits her over the head knocking her out.
Back at division, the undercover leader for the drug squad Andy and Nick are undercover for is trying to get the drug dealer out of jail so he can follow him. Sam isn't going for it and wants answers, so detective Placsico gives him the answers. After being told not to do anything, Sam decides to go against that and him and Tracy take a drive to look around known locations of this drug dealer. When Sam finds a connection they call Placsico back in and that is when they find out that Andy and Nick are off the wire and have been for hours.
Andy gets taken and tied up from the guys in a truck. When the truck finally stops, Andy stands and kicks the person opening the door- turns out to be Nick. They take them into a room and introduce another member of the team. They want Nick to kill Andy because they think Andy is the leak. After much freaking out Nick tells Andy to trust him and she doesn't understand. Nick knows by the handle that the gun isn't loaded and fires. They trust Nick that he isn't the leak but tell him now that he really needs to kill her. Nick chargers the guy and tells Andy to run- she breaks free from the other guy and they run together to get away. He explains it to Andy when they get a chance and she is still ticked.
Sam goes back to the drug deals front of a store to ask more questions in a lot dirtier of a way. He gets some answers but not enough. When they are leaving Andy calls him from a phone she finds on the wall before they run again and tries to find a way to tell them where they are (they are hiding in the back of a semi truck). Sam finds them and all ends good and the bad guys are arrested.
This is not Andy- Meet Cruz
Back at the station Dov reads Chris letter and it turns out that he gets the job a bump in rank and an extra $20,000 a year. We also find out that Sam has a new girlfriend, follow cop Cruz who is a new transfer because Noelle is out on leave. Andy sees Sam kiss Cruz and when Cruz leaves Sam looks up and sees Andy. They have a stare off and Andy shakes her head and walks off to do the debrief from the last six months.

What a start to the season. Will Andy and Sam work it out or are they done? Will this new connection Andy has formed with Nick become something or is it just a close bond the two have now? Also what will Gail think of their new friendship? So many questions to be answered. Let me know your thoughts on the premiere.

Chicago Fire Episode 23 & 24- "Let Her Go" "A Hell of a Ride"

Episode 23- "Let Her Go"
The previous episode is very sad after Halle's death. Casey must now find a way to come to terms with it and the way he does that is trying to find out what happened to cause the fire. Halle's death forces Casey to team up with the Intelligence Unit, now run by Voight, who doesn't appear to have changed his crooked ways which causes Casey not to trust in him to figure this out. After the autopsy is performed they inform Casey that Halle was killed before the fire got to her from a blow to the head. The Intelligence Unit works the case which includes Antonio and a new agent  Julie (lead in's to the spin-off I am guessing).  Some interesting things happen in this episode with Voight. At time you are not sure if he is actually a bad guy or just playing a bad guy to help with some undercover criminal investigation  It is very miss leading and it make you wonder. Then at the end of the episode when they check the guy he has Casey at gun point with Antonio trying to talk him down when Voight comes up. The man acts like seeing Voight is a good thing and asks him to tell Antonio something while Voight just comes up and shots him in the head, killing him instantly.... makes you wonder if Voight has something to do with Halle's death.
Meanwhile, Shay's excitement at the prospect of becoming a parent grows, her and Kelly have an appointment at the clinic the following day.
Mills and Dawson face some personal challenges. Mills is still upset that Dawson didn't tell him about his mother and Chief Bowden. Mills tells her he needs some time- she lets him know that he needs to figure it out one way or another and Dawson leaves.
Meanwhile, the house comes together to support the opening of Molly's. They decide to honor Halle at the opening and donating all profits to the Children's Hospital.

Episode 24- "A Hell of a Ride" Season Finale

The house gets a call to put out a fire in Cook County jail and walks into volatile situation. While at the jail the squad is inside when the power is cut; which means everything is on lock down. Casey team is inside a cell block unit when this happens with the most dangerous of groups. The inmates are the ones that started the fire with an electrical outlet. One guard is killed by the inmates and the teams is now being hunted by this group. They barricade themselves into a room and have the squad members outside the lock down unit to go and help change the direction of the air ducts to smoke the inmates out. This is eventually the way they get out once the power is brought back.
Also during this time Mills and Dawson are stuck together and forced to talk about their relationship. They agree to start fresh and be honest but Mills just has one question for Dawson. That question... "Do you have feelings for Casey?" She isn't able to give him the answer he is looking for... pretty much ending their relationship. Mills also finds out that he did not get the green light for move squad to work with Kelly. While outside Shay gets a call from her doctor and finds out that the treatment didn't work and she isn't pregnant.
Meanwhile Herman's wife goes into labor while they are locked down and Shay keeps getting updates to radio into Herman from the hospital. Once out of the jail the police rush Herman to the hospital because the baby was having trouble breathing. At the hospital after everything is okay, Herman and his wife ask Shay and Kelly to be the godparents.
At the end of the episode we see Mills go into the police station and ask for an application (my guess he will be moving to the spin-off show). Dawson goes over to Casey's place to see how he is going and finds that Casey has being living off his couch and everything is a mess in his house. He breaks down and tells her nothing feels right with Halle being there. Shay and Kelly are getting ready to walk into their apartment when Renee (Kelly's old girlfriend that wanted him to move away) is at the front steps. He asks what she is doing back and she tells him she wanted to tell him in person and then she reveals her belly- letting us all know that she is pregnant. Shay looks devastated because she probably is thinking that Kelly won't try again to have a baby with her.
One last thing, down the road from Molly's a new sports bar is under construction... how will think affect Molly's?

What will next season bring to Chicago Fire? So many cliff hangers... Way in on your thoughts for the season.

Golden Boy Episode 13- "Next Question" Series Finale

So here is that last review of Golden Boy since this was the last episode in the series. I am so bummed that I will not see Theo James on my screen every week but hopefully we will see him on another show soon. Plus we all know he can rock a suit. On to the review..
Clark is assigned to desk duty still so Owen gives him his cold case file that we saw in the beginning of the season. This was Owen's first homicide case he worked which happened to take place on September 11, 2001 before the attacks. Most of this episode involves flashbacks to Owen on the job leading up to the attacks and after. His partner left the case to go and help with crowd control after the first plane hit and Owen continued to work the case. We later find out that his partner went into the towers to help people evacuate but did not make it out himself. We hear his message he left Owen on his cell phone. Clark works this case by himself mostly since everyone else is out working a live case. As he gets breaks- one being from his father; he pulls Owen in to get more information. Turns out that the one who was killed was case of mistaken identity and was never suppose to be killed. It was a drug turf rival conflict. One rival hired a hit-man to kill the other drug dealer and the man who was actually killed just looked a little to much like the drug dealer and was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Turns out his hit-man is linked to numerous unsolved murders over the year and the team ends up closed a bunch of cold cases. Clark gives Owen all the credit and Owen gets the collar and the promotion he deserves.
Meanwhile, Arroyo's wife finds out that he was having an affair but not with who. She gives him a suitcase and tells him not to come home. This makes him lose control. He tries to take Clark's case after the hit-man break so he can get his promotion. He tells Clark he will give this to him or he will release the tape of him giving Natasha the money to leave the city. When they leave to get ready to make the arrest Clark punches Arroyo and drags him into a room and handcuffs him to the pipes so he can't go. When Owen ask Clark where Arroyo is, Clark lets him know that Arroyo will be sitting this one out.
At the end of the episode Deputy Major Holbrook makes an appearance while Margo and Clark are having dinner. He tells Clark there is one last thing he can do.... and he pulls a gun out and points it at Margo and shoots. Clark tries to jump in the way but the screen goes black and the series is over. My guess is this is where Clark may possibly get his limp but I also think Margo could have died here because Clark is alone in the flash forwards. I guess we will never know.

I am sad that this series is over and I think it got poor advertising and that is on the network and directors. They premiered it at a horrible time and day. It just never had a real chance. Let me know your thoughts on the show.

Revenge Season 2 finale- "Truth"

Episode 21- "Truth Part 1"

This season finale is a two hour finale so the title is split into part 1 and 2. I will try to do my best on this review but if you didn't see the episode it was very jamb packed!
The show picks up with the huge black out that ended the previous episode. Charlotte has just told Daniel that she is pregnant, Conrad is getting his campaign ready and Victoria is at the Stowaway with Jack. Carl is out of town with his grandmother. Jack tells Victoria his whole plan on getting revenge. Victoria in turn goes and tells Conrad that Jack and Ashley have been working against him.

Emily and Nolan find Takeda's body. And Emily realizes that is was Aiden that killed him. Aiden tells Emily, that Takeda's has been using her all along, that Takedas fiancee was on flight 197.

Regina and Declan are trapped in a bank lobby, while the power is out and Declan realizes that Regina is in love with Charlotte. Regina plants money in Declan's coat and bruises her self to show Charlotte later on in the episode that Declan is all wrong for her. Victoria finds out that Charlotte is pregnant with Declan's baby.
Conrad hires a man to bomb Grayson global. This is a major campaign ploy and a way to show his voters how he reacts in a disaster. Conrad had sent Jack a message from Ashley's phone telling him that he found the computer and where to meet in Grayson Global. Emily rushes to Grayson global to save Jack, because she knows about the bomb now. Everyone receives a message saying "long live David Clarke". Then the bomb goes off.

Episode 22- "Truth Part 2"

Emily rushes into the building to save Jack, she sees a man lying on the ground, but is rushed out by firefighters before she can see who it is. Jack shows up at Nolcorp and asks Nolan how he knew about the bomb. Emily tells Jack that Declan was in the building and he is in the hospital. She helps him get a uniform so he can sneak in without being noticed. Declan tells Jack he is fine and that Charlotte is pregnant with his baby, so he cannot leave.

Nolan goes and visits Declan in the hospital and Declan tells him that he has to have heart surgery. Jack comes back to find Nolan sitting in Declan's room with an empty bed. He shows Jack a video Declan made of Declan saying goodbye. Declan died. Jack goes frantic, he has nothing left to lose now. He goes to the Grayson's and steals a gun. He threatens Victoria, but decides that it is a worse punishment to make her live. Victoria thinks about telling Charlotte about Declan but doesn't. Jack goes to Conrad's speech for governor. Emily rushes to find Jack before he kills Conrad.

Daniel finds out that the bomb was all Conrad's doing. Conrad tells Victoria that there is no initiative, and in fact it seems like he is the one controlling everything. Victoria is pissed because she thought Daniel was in danger the whole summer, and it was her husbands doing.

Aiden is captured by the police. But he is later released and they go after Nolan instead. There is a video they show him of Padma calling him a terrorist.

Daniel shows up at Emily's house where he finds Aiden, they get in a fight where Daniel is pushed into Emily's desk and knocked over and he sees a gun. Later, Daniel comes to the Conrad's speech and he has blood on his shirt cuff. Victoria is sitting at home watching the election results, when her door bell rings. She goes to answer it and it is Patrick we assume, we never see his face.

Emily locates Jack and she rushes up the stairs to where he has the gun pointed at Conrad. She says that he can't do this, Jack says that this has nothing to do with her. She proclaims that it has everything to do with her. She steps in front of the gun and says that she should have left him out of all this. And she begs Jack to really look at her and says he must have deep down know all along who she was. He does and he flashes back to memories of Amanda when she was little. Then Emily looks at him and says "I am Amanda Clarke".
Have to wait till September to get answers but at least it left on a good note, except for Declan dying. There are so many story lines to get answers to. I am interested in finding out how that will happen. Will they pick up right where they left off or will we get another time jump again?

Chicago Fire Episode 21 & 22- "Retaliation Hit" "Leaders Lead"

Episode 21-"Retaliation Hit"

This episode starts out with Kelly being interviewed about his night with Tara. Many lies on her part that he has to listen to and he gives his side of what happen. Mouch tells Kelly that he needs to leave Tara alone. Casey and Halle have coffee and catch up on life. Detective Voight gets out of jail and he tries to call in that favor from Dawson when he helped her brother.
Mills gets a lot of crap from the other squad members for seeming to suck up to Kelly; he gets many pranks put on him this episode. The fire house have to go through a class about sexual harassment in lieu of events with Kelly. Kelly meets up with Tara and she lets him know that they want her to file a police report. She wants him to admit what happened and make a public apology  He lets her know that she is crazy and he won't do it. Dawson lets her brother know that Voight called in that favor. Antonio lets her know he will take care of it.
At a call for an over turned tanker, Kelly ask Hadley to help set up a poly system, he doesn't know how so Kelly tells Mills to do it and he does it perfect; making Hadley a little upset. Hadley puts dog food in Mills food and it starts a fight. Hadley gets fired... kinda of. Chef puts in a transfer for him.
Antonio meets with Voight, Voight now wants a favor from him. With Kelly confronting Tara opened a can of worms, now the court is looking into his past-- of every girl he has slept with on the job... remember Nikki, her father shows up at the house to let the Chief know that he will be letting the court know that Kelly is a bad guy and what happened with Nikki. Chief lets him know that he valued their friendship but it was nice knowing him that he will have Kelly's back.
Casey meets up with Halle at her new place to give back each others stuff that they still had. They have a conversation about how it used to be. They end up sleeping together, while Voight gets reinstated. Mouch lets Kelly know that Tara won't be acting on the charges internally. She gets a promotion! And Kelly's case will be going to the states attorneys office. Kelly finally begins to break down because of the situation.
Opening night of the bar Molly's is happening. Most of the house comes out to celebrate but so does Voight. Voight seems to apologize to everyone at the bar and buys everyone a round. Voight was promoted to sergeant and is now running the intelligence unit-- who Antonio works for. He tries to make a personal apology to Casey and Halle but Casey isn't having it and walks away.

Episode 22- "Leaders Lead"

Just a forewarning the ending of this episode may possibly be the saddest episode yet.
This episode starts out with Kelly waiting for Tara in a grocery store parking lot. He causes quite a scene with many bystanders. Casey and Halle seem to have reconnected pretty hole heartily. Mills tells Dawson that he is in love with her and wants her to move in. Dawson doesn't say much at the time.
Chief finds out that Kelly went and saw Tara, he tells Kelly if he contacts her again he will force Chief to take away his squad. Kelly is extremely unhappy to say the least. Shay talks Kelly into starting to investigate Tara. Shay feels that Tara targeted Kelly. Kelly goes to Antonio for help. Antonio gives him information on someone who Tara may have done this to before at a previous job- he also finds out that the court will be going forward with criminal charges against Kelly. The mans name is Clay White that Tara also did this to. They had a fun time and went in different directions. When the company had to downsize Tara made the claim against him. Kelly ask him to come forward and help him.
Dawson tells Mills that she loves him and that she wants to know when to move her stuff in.  Casey goes to Halle's clinic and meets her for lunch. I can't quite figure it out but something just seems fishy there. They have lunch outside and talk about life some more. She basically tells Casey that she still wants to be with him.
Kelly and Clay go to Tara's work and Kelly threatens to take Tara to criminal court or she can take the charges back, quit her job and they never have to see each other again. Later that day Chief informs Kelly that Tara has recanted her testimony after him and quit her job. Dawson tells Mills the truth about his mother and Chief and Mill gets mad at Dawson for not telling him as soon as she found out. This leaves their relationship up in the air.
Also later that night the house get a call for a fire that happens to be Halle's clinic. When they get there the building is in flames and it looks bad. Casey finds out that Halle is inside. Casey and Kelly find her in the locked medicine cage unresponsive and badly burned. They fight to get to her and when they get to her they grab her and barely get out of the building. Dawson, Shay and Casey ride to the ambulance together, Halle is unresponsive the whole time. At the end of the episode the whole team is at the hospital waiting, we see Casey go and talk to the doctor after a moment he breaks down and starts crying- Halle didn't make it. Mills goes to him quickly.
All new episode next Wednesday. How will Casey deal with losing Halle after he just got her back? What will happen with Mills and Dawson? And will Shay and Kelly decide to go through with the baby thing now that the issues with Tara are over? The preview for the next episode show us that Casey goes to Voight to find out who is responsible for the fire and Antonio informs Casey that Halle was killed before the fire started. This was also the backdoor pilot for the Chicago PD spin-off  Tune in next Wednesday, only two episodes left this season.

While decrypting the laptop, Felicity uncovers a link to Walter—a $2 million transfer was made to Dominic Alonzo, an underground casino owner who was hired to kidnap Walter. With Felicity posing as a card sharp, the pair infiltrate the casino; after being beaten and threatened by Oliver as the hood, Alonzo reveals that Walter was killed.
Oliver informs his family, Moira immediately confronts Malcolm, who reveals that Walter is alive. Oliver, who was listening in, discovers that Tommy's father is heading the secret organization, and uses Felicity to hack into his phone records to ascertain Walter's location.
As the vigilante, Oliver frees Walter and reunites him with the family. But there is an uneasy feeling with Walter towards Moira because he feels she is responsible for his kidnapping.
Meanwhile, Laurel goes to Tommy to get the truth about why he left, and Tommy reveals that he believes she is meant to be with Oliver, who still loves her. When Laurel approaches Oliver she asks him to help her get Tommy back and doesn't think what Tommy told her about Oliver is true. Oliver tells her that he can't help her because he does still have feelings for her.
In a flashback, Robert Queen is shown disagreeing with Malcolm's proposed "Undertaking", which would involve leveling the Glades and kill thousands of people in an effort to rebuild the area and remove the crime. As a result, Malcolm has a bomb planted on the Queens' yacht just before Robert and Oliver set off.

Will the love story between Oliver and Laurel pick back up now or will Laurel fight to get Tommy back? What will happen with the Undertaking and can Oliver stop it? Tune it find out.

Do I agree with all the picks by the coaches? No not really, but that is the reason I am not sitting in their chair. The one I disagree with the most would be Team Blake. I am a fan of Justin and I truly think he did better than The Swon Brothers. But hey it is what it is.
